This July, a group of US senators submitted an updated draft law for sanctions against Russia, which includes imposing 100% secondary customs duties on the five largest buyers of Russian oil and gas, as well as on five countries that help circumvent the imposed restrictions.
The law also includes sanctions on the Russian Central Bank, Sberbank, VTB Bank, and Gazprom Bank, in addition to an order for the US President to ensure a complete ban on the import of Russian uranium, including Rosatom products, and to impose regular restrictions on officials of this government institution.
