The extremist temple groups setting a goal of gathering 5,000 settlers in one day in Al-Aqsa Mosque during this occasion, “the anniversary of the destruction of the temple,” indicates a horizon that the occupation wants in the mosque: the image of flooding Al-Aqsa with thousands of settlers to reach the moment of numerical victory over the Islamic presence.

It appears from all these scenes that Israel, especially the national-religious right, feels a severe crisis due to its inability, to date, to fully impose its agenda on Al-Aqsa Mosque. The right-wing, national-religious parties and movements are now trying to impose their presence at the mosque at night.
The victory in this battle will be achieved by imposing a retreat on the occupation and its settlers and deterring it when it comes to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and not in the occupation’s own failure due to its internal disputes related to Al-Aqsa.
Just two days before the so-called “Anniversary of the Destruction of the Temple,” some settlers committed an unprecedented act in Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they drew the religious slogan “The Savior in the House of the Lord,” which is used by some members of these extremist groups, which is the slogan of the crown, which consists of two letters of the word (Christ), on a rectangle indicating the temple.
I believe that the idea of mobilizing large numbers of settlers in the mosque, and raising the numerical target every year, means that these groups want to revive hope in the hearts of their people, especially as they find that the general trend of their movements in Al-Aqsa Mosque over the past twenty years is on the rise. This is unfortunately a fact, and we must not deceive ourselves in this regard.
As for Ben Ghafir, he participated with the settlers in performing a massive prayer after the evening prayer in front of Bab al-Qattaneen, one of the doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the western side.
